Mandy is a professional makeup artist with 19+ years in the business. She revels in the transformative power of makeup: not just the physical transformation that happens when a character assumed or a mask or prosthetic is put on, but the whole soul transformation that comes sometimes just from trying a new shade of lipstick. She has watched people find themselves as she works on them, because being able to dictate what we look like on the outside gives us the power to decide how we present and express ourselves to the world. Her philosophy is simple: pay attention to the needs of whoever is in the chair, be it a seasoned actor, a young bride, or an up and coming model, and any and everything in between. Help them assume the face they need for the day.

A consummate professional with almost two decades on-set and behind the scenes experience, Mandy thrives on art, expression, the ability to create, and the freedom to be unapologetic and passionate about things. She has been an artist, both visual and performing, her whole life: She’s also a musician, full-time wife and mother, incurable geek and fan girl, bibliophile, animal lover, moon dancer, and staunch progressive equality advocate and activist. “I’m fiercely progressive. I swear a little too much, drink a little too much coffee, and I find wonder and beauty in everything I see, even in those things that may be considered ugly by others.”
